This project was shot on the same day as the other comic book page that featured the motorcycle. Unlike the other one, though, a good bit of this series was shot on location. The post production on this project ran about 25 hours.

Later at the studio the model was re-shot and composited in.
As you can see, we attempted to shoot this shot on location. Unfortunately, due to the time of day, the shadows from the railing cut across the model.
We decided to go ahead and have the model step out of the shot, and shoot a clean background plate.
Again the model was shot in the studio, since we didn’t want to actually throw him over the railing. We realized if he was falling, his jacket would blow upwards. That’s why my make up girl is holding up the corner of the jacket with a clip
This is actually a different location than the one featured in the rest of the series. The reason being, it simply had a more dynamic background. I ended up digital painting the red rail blue, to help hide this fact, but as you can see the bars are vertical, where the other railing had horizontal bars.
If you look at the background plate again, you will notice, I ended up painting out the trees in the background
I liked the lens flares from the sun so much I end up enhancing them to make them more predominate in the shot. If this were an actual comic book, I would use this shot for the cover.
These were just some fun shots we took for the models and the make up girl
